At the end of July, VTN Witten GmbH hosted the meeting of Technical Committee 25 „Quality Assurance in Heat Treatment“ of the Working Group on Heat Treatment + Materials Technology (AWT) at the Herbede site.

At the event, which was chaired by Mr. Markus Milde, the focus was particularly on pyrometer and thermal imaging camera systems as well as the comparison of the standards CQI-9, ISO 20431 and AMS2750. Participants discussed the latest technologies and their applications in industrial heat treatment. In addition, the differences and similarities of the above-mentioned standards were analysed and their importance for quality assurance was highlighted.

Many thanks go to all participants for their active and valuable contributions. The meeting was a great success, and we look forward to future events to further develop quality assurance in heat treatment.
