With the investment in a state-of-the-art solvent cleaning and degreasing unit from the manufacturer Hemo, the Witten-Annen site is expanding its service portfolio. This step underlines our claim to meet the highest quality standards in component cleaning before and after heat treatment, even in protective gas hardening (e.g. case hardening, carburizing, hardening and tempering). The combination of aqueous and solvent-based cleaning within our chamber furnace line will enable us to safely control an even wider range of contamination in the future – a clear added value for our customers and their downstream processes.
A VAIOCS S cleaning system is used, which impresses with state-of-the-art vacuum technology, continuous solvent preparation and flexibly combinable cleaning stages. Processes such as pre-spraying, immersion cleaning, steam degreasing and intensive drying ensure reproducible cleaning results at the highest level. The swivelling cleaning chamber with ultrasonic support and the integrated Cyclic Nucleation Process (CNP) set new standards – especially for demanding component geometries such as long blind holes or hollow bodies closed on one side. Geometric restrictions are thus a thing of the past. The investment is rounded off using a high-performance hybrid cleaner from Burgdorf, which further increases process reliability.
