All four sites of the VTN Group underwent successful recertification and monitoring in accordance with IATF 16949 in August. The consistently good results have once again confirmed the high standard of our production and quality assurance.

IATF 16949 is the highest automotive standard, which was established by the International Automotive Task Force many years ago. The standard combines all important overlaps from previous and nationally published automotive quality standards such as QS-9000, VDA 6.1, EAQF 94 and AVSQ. In addition, IATF 16949 provides a holistic approach to quality improvement, in which the supplier is explicitly committed to excellence, cost efficiency and delivery reliability.

For many years, IATF 16949 has been a key success factor for VTN, as we carry out heat treatments such as case hardening, nitrocarburizing, induction hardening or low-pressure carburizing for demanding customers in the automotive industry at all four locations.
